Nirvana Beach
Overview
Nirvana Beach is an incredibly long stretch of golden sand that runs parallel to several small fishing villages. It is famous for the dense line of Casuarina trees that border the beach, creating a unique 'green wall'. The beach is so vast that even on busy days, it feels completely empty.

What to do here?
Walk along the shore to see the endless Casuarina groves—it's a perfect spot for photography. For the best view, hike up to the nearby Kagal Fort Hilltop; from there, you get a 360-degree majestic view of the river Aghanashini meeting the sea.
The Story & History
Locals call this the 'long beach' because it connects multiple villages. It has recently gained fame for Bioluminescence (glowing blue waves) visible on moonless nights post-monsoon.
Important Tips
The beach has no shops or shacks. The road is sandy near the entrance—park your bike on firm ground. If staying for the night camping, please clean up your trash.
