What to do here?
Start with the Hilltop Garden to relax on the benches and enjoy the coastline view. Walk down to the Falls for a refreshing dip in the natural pond. Finally, take the trail/steps down the cliff to reach Apsarakonda Beach, which is often empty and perfect for a peaceful walk.
The Story & History
Legend has it that heavenly angels (Apsaras) chose this spot for their bath due to the pristine fresh water facing the sea, hence the name 'Apsara' (Angel) 'Konda' (Pond).
Important Tips
The trek down to the beach involves steep steps; climbing back up can be tiring for seniors. Carry water if you plan to go down to the beach. The waterfall flow reduces drastically in summer (March-May).
