What to do here?
Sign up for a DSD (Discover Scuba Diving) session. You will spot Butterfly fish, Parrot fish, Eels, and vibrant coral reefs. If you are not into diving, you can opt for snorkeling or just a boat ride around the island.
The Story & History
The island was used for target practice by the Indian Navy in the past, which is why you might spot old shell casings. It is now a protected biodiversity zone.
Important Tips
You cannot step onto the island (forbidden by Navy). All activities happen from the boat. Book your slot a day in advance in Murudeshwar. Avoid during monsoon (June-Sept) as boats don't operate.
